I’m also captivated by light supernatural elements, such as shapeshifter wolf packs, and find solace in the realm of fantasy. Whether I’m weaving stories about otherworldly creatures or crafting fantastical realms, there’s always a love story at the core of my writing. Born and raised in St. Clair County, Illinois, I’m the sixth of seven siblings. My early years were marked by constant movement and challenges, as my family often relocated from one town to another. Despite the turbulence at home, I found solace in the world of books during my elementary school years.
My journey as a writer began in middle school when I started writing poetry. I even mustered the courage to submit a short story to the Young Author Program in my state. Throughout high school and into adulthood, I continued to explore the power of words through poetry. Although I made several attempts to write books, I didn’t quite make it to the point of publishing. I’ve also dabbled in fan fiction, creating stories that remained hidden in the depths of my imagination.
My writing is deeply influenced by my unique life experiences, and I’m drawn to themes of love, escape, and the extraordinary. Through my stories, I aim to create a sense of connection and adventure that transports readers to different worlds.

At the age of 13, I faced a profound loss when my grandpa passed, a moment that triggered a journey through anxiety and depression. To navigate the emotional turbulence, I turned to writing, initially as a way to cope with my inner struggles. Writing became my refuge, a safe haven where I could express my feelings and find solace.
During those challenging times, I carried an extra notebook with me at school, a constant companion to capture my thoughts and emotions whenever needed. What began as a therapeutic outlet gradually transformed into a passion that I couldn’t ignore. Writing wasn't just a response to anxiety and loss; it became a purposeful journey, a source of inspiration, and a path to self-discovery.
Through my words, I aim to share the power of storytelling, to connect with readers, and to offer them the same sense of escape and healing that writing has provided me on my journey.

Outside of the world of writing, I cherish the time I spend with my loving husband and children. We make precious memories through movie nights, game nights, and family outings like apple and pumpkin picking. These moments are a source of joy and inspiration in my life.
When I’m not creating stories, I’m often immersed in the tales of others. Binge-watching shows like ‘Supernatural,’ ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ ‘Dawson’s Creek,’ ‘Game of Thrones,’ and ‘House of the Dragon’ is a delightful escape for me.
But my true passion remains within the pages of books. My all-time favorite novel is ‘The Host’ by Stephanie Meyer, and I’m currently engrossed in the epic world of ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ by George R. R. Martin. These authors have left an indelible mark on my own storytelling.
